Yamama Cement’s profits down 10% in Q2

Riyadh – Mubasher: Yamama Cement Company’s net profits slid by 10% in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020 to total SAR 47.85 million when compared to SAR 53.17 million in Q2 of last year.

Year-on-year (YoY), revenues went down by 2.21% to stand at SAR 161.68 million by June-end, compared with SAR 165.33 million in Q2-19, according to a stock exchange filing on Sunday.

The firm attributed the second-quarter profit decline largely to the increasing general and administrative expenses, coupled with lower other revenues.
