Riyadh-Mubasher: Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to establish a new company to partly operate Yanbu Commercial Port, a local newspaper reported.
The chamber is currently conducting feasibility studies on the project, through an agreement with Aldukheil Group which will advise on the establishment as well as on offering the company for public subscription later, sources told Al Eqtisadiah daily.
The new entity will offer the necessary infrastructure for Yanbu port and benefit from its strategic location to ease pressures on Jeddah Islamic Port, the sources added.
