Mubasher: Yemen’s former president Ali Abdullah Saleh has been killed on Monday in the Yemeni capital Sanaa after days of intense street fighting brewing between his forces and Houthi rebels, CNN reported.

Pictures and videos were published online affirming Saleh’s death and showed severe wounds in his head.

Houthi rebels had taken control of the interior ministry and released a statement announcing Saleh’s death, the CNN said.
