Cairo – Mubasher: The yield on Egypt’s seven-year treasury bills (T-bills) dwindled to its lowest level in nine months, or since December 2016, according to statements by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Tuesday.
The average yield on seven-year T-bills dropped to 16.69%, while the bills were oversubscribed 3.4 times, the MoF noted.
The average yield on the 2.9-time covered three-year T-bills fell to 16.51%, the ministry added.
The MoF was aiming to issue EGP 1.75 billion in T-bills on Tuesday.
