Yields on 10-yr T-notes rise 3.3% Monday – CBE

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Monday announced a 3.3% rise in yields on ten-year treasury notes (T-notes).

The CBE stated that the average yield of the ten-year notes reached 15.5% and have been oversubscribed 1.1 times, versus 15% in the previous issuance.

Meanwhile, the average yield on the five-year notes stood at 15.2%, and have been covered 1.8 times.

The CBE had previously posted that the issuance of EGP 2.25 billion T-notes on Monday.
