Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Finance announced that yields on treasury bills increased at Thursday’s regular auction.
Yields on the 182-day bills rose to 19.112% compared with 18.731% a week earlier.
Yields on the 357-day bills moved up to 18.983% from 18.622% recorded last week.
The government estimated FY16/17 budget deficit to reach EGP 319.46 billion, compared with EGP 339 billion a year earlier.
