Cairo – Mubasher: Yields on the six-month and one-year treasury bills rose today in an auction, according to the central bank.
Average yield on the 182-day T-bills amounted to 11.577%, up from 11.405% in the previous auction. Meanwhile, average yield on the one-year T-bills reached 11.624%, compared with 11.607%.
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) last Thursday raised interest rates by 50 basis points.
