Kuwait-Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunications (Zain) said that the Iraqi court of appeal has scheduled the tax lawsuit challenged by Atheer-Iraq for Wednesday, according to a bourse statement.
The case was filed by Atheer Telecommunications, Zain’s Iraqi operator, against the Iraqi general commission for taxes which imposed a capital tax on a transaction by which Iraqna was sold to Atheer.
On the Kuwaiti stock market, Zain settled at 345 fils, after 356,000 shares were exchanged with a value of about KWD 123,900.
