Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dammam Airports to enhance the company's digital infrastructure, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Dammam Airports CEO Mohammed Al Hassany and Zain Saudi Arabia CEO Saad Al Sadhan inked the deal at Dammam Airports' headquarters at King Fahd International Airport.
The agreement reflects the listed group’s strategy to drive the Kingdom's digital transformation and support key economic sectors, particularly travel, transportation, and logistics.
This also falls in line with Dammam Airports' commitment to anchoring the Kingdom's position as a global tourism and travel destination by adopting a leading model for airport services in the Eastern Region.
Under the MoU, Zain KSA will explore providing an integrated digital system for Dammam Airports through advanced technical solutions supported by one of the Kingdom's most advanced 5G networks.
The proposed solutions include cloud services through Zain Cloud, which received the highest rating from the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, Wi-Fi solutions and related digital infrastructure; as well as technical support services.
Earlier this month, Zain KSA launched its Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AI CoE) to expand AI adoption across Saudi Arabia.
