Kuwait – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company (Zain) announced that Zain KSA is exploring the sale of its passive tower infrastructure with a consortium comprised of TASC SAL and ACWA Holding.
There is no binding agreement and there is no certainty that discussions with TASC SAL and ACWA Holding will lead to a transaction, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
The company noted that any transaction will be subjected to the regulatory authorities and any further announcements regarding material changes will be made in time.
By 9:30 Kuwait time, Kuwait-listed Zain added 1.2% by trading 1.9 million shares at a value of KWD 806,300.
