Riyadh - Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) achieved a net profit of SAR 45 million ($12 million) during the first quarter of 2017 against a loss of SAR 250 million ($66.7 million) in the same period of 2016.
The company achieved operating profits of SAR 273 million in Q1-17 versus operating losses of SAR 32 million in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
During the first quarter, Zain KSA’s overall revenues increased by 9% to SAR 1.92 billion from SAR 1.77 billion in Q1-16.
Customers baseline shrank by 13% to reach 10.1 million subscribers in Q1-17 from 11.6 million in Q1-16.
