Cairo – Mubasher: Zaki Hashem & Partners Law Firm unveiled on Sunday that it was named a domestic legal advisor for the consortium undertaking the arrangement and the promotion of Egypt's EUR 1-1.5 billion bond sale (to be offered in the global markets).
Linklater will act as an international legal advisor for a group of banks managing the planned bond issue including Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Standard Chartered, according to a company statement.
Meanwhile, Al Tamimi & Company and Dechert were chosen as legal advisors to the Egyptian government for the major transaction.
