Kuwait – Mubasher: Zima Holding recorded a surge of 127.4% in profits of the second quarter this year as compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings reached about KWD 30,500 ($100,840) in Q2-16 versus nearly KWD 13,410 ($44,340) in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement.
The growth in Q2 profits resulted from the company’s share in the financial results of an associate.
During the first half of 2016, results turned profitable by about KWD 33,490 against losses of nearly KWD 118,460 in the same half in the prior year.
