Dubai – Mubasher: Budget carrier flydubai has announced that it will apply Emirates’ loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards, as part of the airlines’ partnership.
As of 1 August, members of flydubai’s rewarding programme OPEN, will be enrolled into Emirates Skywards to continue to be rewarded when travelling with flydubai, according to a company statement.
“During July, OPEN Gold members and Emirates Skywards Silver members and above, who are also OPEN members, can convert their OPEN reward points to Skywards Miles,” flydubai said.
In July 2017, flydubai and Emirates announced that they would form a partnership aimed at allowing the companies to feed passengers onto each other’s flights.
Over 650,000 passengers have benefitted from the two carriers’ partnership, flydubai noted.
