Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: iSON Technologies and its co investor Dhabi One Investment Services acquired Global Technology Services (GTS), a 100% owned subsidiary of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), according to a statement on Tuesday.
The acquisition enables iSON Technologies to expand its services and client portfolio in the UAE and the GCC, while enabling GTS access to enter new sectors such as telecommunications, aviation, media and entertainment, as well as expanding across Africa and APAC regions.
iSON Technologies will also be able to provide significant operational and cost efficiencies along with a better service to ENOC, the statement said, adding the acquisition significantly reduces ENOC's capital expenditure on IT infrastructure.
