Riyadh – Mubasher: The shareholders of the Saudi Telecom Company (stc) gave the green light for distributing an additional cash dividend of SAR 1 per share for 2020, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The total additional dividends will stand at SAR 2 billion, representing 10% of the share’s nominal value.
stc is therefore paying a cash dividend worth SAR 5 per share for 2020, which totals SAR 10 billion or accounts for 50% of the share’s par value.
The telecom operator earlier announced the distribution of SAR 2 billion worth of dividends for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020.
Last week, stc said it would pay SAR 1 per share as a dividend for the first quarter (Q1) of 2021.
